There was a discussion about what marital vows are and our mutual friends thinks that only applies to religious, married folks. I disagreed.
Non-religious people still get married in courthouses, vineyards, the beach, etc. Church isn't the only place to get married. A marital vow doesn't have to include god nor religion in it. Being loyal and committed is already a vow. Would you agree non-religious people and/or atheist also have marital vows?
