Can a Christian and an Atheist work as a couple?

I'm a Christian and my girlfriend is an Atheist, can it work out long term? My parents haven't met her just yet.

''He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.''

It will never work for many reasons. But some of them are that it places you at risk. While you are inviting God and the Holy Kingdom in, they are inviting the Kingdom of darkness into the back door. Fear not man... but fear God...

yes because she’s the one that’s an atheist. if you can be a good enough of a man to a woman and earn her respect, your beliefs will basically become hers given time.

Yes, you just have to be careful with what you say. Don't do anything to trigger heated arguments. Just sort of vaguely explain your passion for your faith from time to time. Emphasize the beauty of believing in God and his love for us. That kind of thing will resonate with her over time.

Women will generally come to agree with men they respect. My girlfriend was a fairly liberal feminist Asian chick from California who I got to vote for Trump and now she wants to be a stay at home wife for me lol.

With that being said, it doesn't always work like that. But even if her core beliefs don't change she will at least respect yours if she loves you.

It can. I know a lawyer who was raised by such a couple. The wife was catholic and the husband atheist. It worked because neither of them really prioritized that part of their relationship together, they both understood that spirituality was an individual experience and not something to be compromised on or controlled by someone else. And it worked out nicely for the kids too, who had the option to go to church or stay home on Sundays depending on how they felt.

As long as you never bring it up it can. But if you bring it up, it’s a guaranteed argument. Most atheists are too rational to ever be convinced of the benighted fantasy espoused by the Abrahamic religions.

Well yes, but a Christian should not knowingly enter into an unequally yoked marriage so if it gets to that point be careful.
