Often, the ones that claim to be traditional actually are not.
Traditionally they would be a virgin until marriage, not provided a car, or smartphone, computer, internet, TV in each room, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, etc. or have any tattoos or any piercings anywhere but their ears. Most people, including the ones that have YouTube channels claiming to be traditional are not. The majority of women that claim that just want a free living while actually being lazy and doing very little to contribute to the relationship, but expect a lot in return.
Many good men don't care if the woman works or not. What they actually care about is her not having an immoral job, or a job that keeps her away from home when he is off work because he wants her available when he is available to have time to enjoy together frequently. And if she does work, she should contribute some of it financially, otherwise her working is not for the benefit of the relationship, it is totally selfish. Then just don't have social media and if they are happy in the relationship, don't ask for advice from anyone outside the relationship, because it can only lead to unhappiness if you are already happy. Don't try to fix what isn't broken.
If a couple does have a relationship where one doesn't work, there needs to be a small allowance for the non-working partner just so they can get some things or do some things without always having to ask for it. NOT a credit card, because that can lead to serious problems, but a set amount of cash each month in the budget, decided after figuring out a budget for all normal expenses and determining the discretionary money left each month. (The working partner should have much more of the discretionary money).
A truly good wife is the most precious treasure a man can find! Her husband depends on her, and she never lets him down. She is good to him every day of her life, and with her own hands she gladly makes clothes. She is like a sailing ship that brings food from across the sea. She gets up before daylight to prepare food for her family and for her servants. She knows how to buy land and how to plant a vineyard, and she always works hard. She knows when to buy or sell, and she stays busy until late at night. She spins her own cloth, and she helps the poor and the needy. Her family has warm clothing, and so she doesn't worry when it snows. She does her own sewing, and everything she wears is beautiful. Her husband is a well-known and respected leader in the city. She makes clothes to sell to the shop owners. She is strong and graceful, as well as cheerful about the future. Her words are sensible, and her advice is thoughtful. She takes good care of her family and is never lazy. Her children praise her, and with great pride her husband says, “There are many good women, but you are the best!” Charm can be deceiving, and beauty fades away, but a woman who honors the LORD deserves to be praised. Show her respect— praise her in public for what she has done.
I wouldn't precisely because of what you just said. I don't want to depend on someone 100% because if I take the risk of it not working out it would be a lot harder to find the means to leave.
Also, I'm not saying most guys do this but it makes it a lot easier for the abusive ones and cheaters to do whatever they want and they take full advantage of it. You never fully know anyone until you live with them.
Biblically is a curse to 100% depend on someone else..
You're at the mercy of someone just to eat and humans are subject to turn on you.
i have strong faith in God so i'm not realky scared if a man disappear in my life because i cannot be ok of what he wante to hapoen. i am not an option. pls respect my decision if i realky do not want to be with you. you have your other option so why not just be with that person

I don't want to get married, definitely don't want to be a wife, and I wouldn't want a house-partner either. I don't like power imbalances in my relationships. I like women who compliment me, not who dominate or submit to me.
This was one of the things that first made me feel weird about my parents religion. They said men and women were "equal," but by the time you follow all the rules about relationships they pulled out of the Bible, it's very much a hierarchy with women designed to be ruled over by their spiritually-superior husbands in every area of their life.
I wouldn't. But that's because it's not good to depend on someone else for life. For me especially and then I'd really end up becoming that 60 yr. Old lady who can't take care of herself. Wouldn't be a good thing at all. There's a reason why our parents raise us to know how to be independent in some way when we leave the nest. So we can take care of ourselves when we have nobody else.
We are pretty traditional. Sure, I do not have money of my money own. But neither does my husband. In marriage, we are one with eachother so all of our possessions are shared. He depends on me as much as I depend on him.
You and your husband are exceptions as you and your husband are born again saved christians under the influence of the Holy Spirit so no problem there.
Heathens or a fake religious men having a wife confined to the home to cook and clean after him and serve his every whim at a basic level doesn't nor won't consider his wife an equal thus disrespect her, abuse her and see her less than and everything in favor of himself.
Exactly what that woman in the news clip got.
Well nowadays its very dangerous to be like tht. Sometimes u can find urself alone if the husband dies or leaves her behind. No one should rely on someone else for money. Its like relying on someone to breath air for u. I prefer for a man to work for his wife and earn. But some men are not like that
If I ever fall into something like this. I would still work something to add money to the bank account
Of course I would because that is what I want. I am not going to marry and abusive man, nor would I fear it because I would have lots of recourses.
Wife response: i am a traditional wife have been for 16 years. My husband (account creator) has taken care of everything so all I need to do is be that traditional feminine woman that makes my family shine and grow.
Who actually said that? The Alexa A. I. machine you got? LOL
my wife wrote it. We share the account simpler than having to swap between a blue and a pink account when we answer things. Must have been after I went to bed. The reason for "wife response" is so people know who is responding. Sometimes we will answer a question together in which case we use "dual response:"
No. It's foolish to assume life will go smoothly. People lose jobs, break up, get into accidents, die. It's easier to sustain life if both people are working.
it depends if he is atheist he has no commitment to stay married but if he followed jesus maybe i would do that,
Being a trad wife made her situation more challenging but the core of this problem was choosing an abusive man; not her trad wife values.
I mean, its still a safe option so long as they have a place to go to if things don’t work out (ie family or job experience)
It's a curse still. God suppose to be your source, not another person.
I mean yeah, but even religious people still end up divorcing sometimes
I'd love to be a trad wife but I wouldn't love being trapped in an abusive / cheating/ grown apart / etc marriage due to lack pf my own financial resources.
no, because... no.
