Natural or lab grown diamond- girls engaged what did you choose?

So my partner and I are looking at engagement rings, he wants me to choose the perfect one for me but I’m having a bit of trouble deciding if I’d rather go with a bigger stone in the lab grown or a smaller stone in the natural diamond?

I'm no longer buying diamonds other than the chips and pointers I buy at gold weight since my former diamond dealer is planning to sell the family business over lab diamonds

Personally I went for small natural diamonds as a cluster around a beautiful sapphire stone... And I certainly didn't go too extravagant either.

Just avoid using one made from a loved one. Tacky. And even more awkward in a divorce.

It's just semantics. It's weird you even care if it is lab grown. 99% of natural diamonds are blood diamonds harvested by slaves.
