I had to experience it with my own sister! She wanted it to be like a party with everyone there. OMW! I tried to stand behind her so I wouldn't see her stuff, you know, but they placed a great big mirror down there. Then the baby's head got stuck and they had to vacuum it out. Then that big bloody thing came out, and then nurse plopped it into a salad bowl!

I'm not married but I would say that if you want something, you might not get it unless you ask for it. I have married friends who had fights with their partners when they were in the dating stage and they told me the fights did not decrease and the issues did not resolve until they had discussions and new agreements about how they would interact and carry on with the relationship. This is not like child hood academics where issues resolve themselves without outside help or intentional discussions inside the relationship.
