So this past summer my husband our kids and I we went to a wedding for a ungreatful Karen couple not only did this couple referred to my sweet kids as demons. When my husband and I we were dancing together on the dance floor having fun my sweet husband fell down and injured his back. Long story short were sueing the couple and venue and the Karen couple we don't care if they're have to skip the honey moon they better pay for the spends we had to make since we came from our of state. The venue should had installed more safe and secure flooring-tile how careless and I responsible of a business establishment. Now this couple will pay for everything my husband and I spend since they didn't want our kids included in their ugly wedding and this 32 year old couples you would expect then to act like adults but no they decided to be spoiled selfish Karen's. Will my husband and I win the case? I hope so , It isn't fair my sweet kind husband injured his back.
1 yI'd say you and your husband have a pretty good case, luv. That Karen couple sounds like a real piece of work for talking bad about your kids. And come on, the venue should definitely have more secure flooring if people are gonna be dancing and stuff.
It really wasn't cool that your husband got hurt either. Back injuries can be super serious and expensive to deal with. I'd be so mad too if it made you guys spend a lot of money on medical bills and stuff.
The way I see it, both the couple and the venue should be responsible since they were being disrespectful and didn't have the place set up safely. With how much you had to pay already cause of your trip and everything, they owe it to you to reimburse all that.
I'd say go for it with the lawsuit. Make sure to explain exactly how much you guys struggled financially because of this. And that they never should have insulted your kids in the first place. As long as your lawyer plays up how irresponsible they were, you've got a good shot at winning and getting back all the money you spent. Those Karen's won't know what hit em!10 Reply

Hmm name calling

Falls over. Somehow.
Could be from drinking

Could be an old back injury
Could be he wasn't paying attention
Just because the people loved your kids and everybody else and they have the last name Karen doesn't mean you're entitled to anything.
Maybe they'll counter to you and get their honeymoon after all02 Reply- 1 y

Amd my husband he is perfectly healthy he works out at the gym , eats healthy goes out for a run each morning and still plays soccer and basket ball at 48 . So I am 100%sure it's the venues cheap flooring and it's on the venues fault.
Highly unlikely. The couple getting married had nothing to do with flooring. That is at the very least the establishment's problem.
I wouldn't tell the court your username here. Might diminish your case lol.

Why? Because it isn't what you want to hear?
What sort of moron would think that a dance floor is the responsibility of the bride and groom? The fact is that you are salty about the couple and what they said. Here is the reality.
Your husband injured himself. He did. No one forced him out there. I bet the floor was just fine. How many other injuries were there and be honest? Does none sound right.
Go right ahead and sue. You are going to lose. Big time. - 1 y
Abbycado Easy for you to say since it wasn't your crush , boyfriend whatever. It is not my husbands fault. It is not fair my husband is in pain because useless business owners decided to be cheap. Oh I am not salty go say that to the Karen couple. Oh wait you are the prime example of a Karen! None of this was my husband fault. We want JUSTICE! You younger people do not understand what Respect is!

My husband he is 48 and strong and healthy! It's the useless cheap floor and the disgusting business owners fault.

You do know a dance floor is intended to be slippery? If it had a rough sandpaper finish then twirls wouldn't work and moves where you slide your foot wouldn't work. In more experienced amateur circles, talcum powder sprinkled on the floor to make it more slippery. I used to pack talcum. Back in the day sawdust was used.
The root problem might be a lack of understanding and maybe experience in partner dancing. No idea of how that might might go legally.
As for the kiddies, well if they were invited then the couple marrying could reasonably expect some kiddo behavior but at the same time expect parents to keep a modicum of decorum. I'm more with you on this aspect.10 Reply
Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yFor a wedding, generally it's an "invitation", not a "summons". You can refuse.
While at the venue, nobody forced your husband to dance. In most venues you dance at your own risk. If nobody else was injured then the venue can claim any injuries were due to how the facilities were being used, rather than the facilities themselves.
At a wedding the focus is the bride and groom. As such, they set the rules regarding attendance. The non-inclusion of children could be for a thousand reasons or none. It's their choice as the couple getting married.
More concisely, your attitude sucks. You are the Karen10 ReplyYou should not sue the couple because they didn't install the floor. Use your brain. If the floor was installed incorrectly and there was a slip trip or fall hazard then there may be a legal issue and you will have to sue the business's insurance who is supposed to cover that. If you're talking about ruining a person or small business financially, then that's fucked up and not very nice. Especially if there's no issue with the floor and the accident was due to your husband's clumsiness, poor choice of shoes, or somebody spilled a drink, etc.
00 ReplyYou are evil. And I think your husband is faking his injury.
You never mentioned the fall or injury before. All you talked about is how you went ahead and defiantly brought your kids to the wedding when the couple clearly stated "No kids". Then your one brat ran around making noise and the other one smeared cake on the bride's dress. YOU ruined their wedding.
I hope karma catches up with the two of you.07 Reply- 1 y
Don't you dare make false accused my husband of this. He is a good man he would never. You know false testimony can get you into a lawsuit.

I rebuke your wish in the name of Jesus! And live my husband alone!

10 ReplyLet me see if I get this straight.
You're suing a newly wed couple because your husband was clumsy and fell on the dancefloor? Motivation being they should have installed less slippery floor. Hate to say it but based on this story you're the Karens.

First off PLEASE DO NOT CALL MY HUSBAND CLUMSY! š” My husband he is not clumsy the disgraceful owners decided to be cheap and installed cheap flooring tile I wrote on the paragraph PAY ATTENTION! My husband infact he looks way more younger than you physically. And I don't appreciate you calling us the Karen's when in fact the only Karen's here is the bride and groom they owe us money. My husband at his age he works out a lot each morning goes out to run at the neighborhood at his age he plays soccer and basketball. People always tell my husband he looks 25 while the disgusting groom he looks like a retired over 55 year old senior citizen. I am sure the bride and groom would look really good at a nursing home.

Yeah? Anyone else fall on that cheap floor? No? Then your husband is clumsy. You can't blame the floor. Furthermore it's a very Karen thing to do holding others accoutable for your own failings on the dancefloor. Your looks are irrelevant to the issue but bringing that up as a way of convincing your argument is another very Karen thing to do. How about growing up and take responsibility for your own faults and the behavior of your children?
- 1 y
Well you are the who started and went all Karen mode by calling My husband clumsy. FYI my husband he is a good men reads his Bible attends church the whole week that includes business days of the week. Ok make fun of me all you want but please Do Not call my husband clumsy please š
1 yExtremely unlikely. He tripped, what do you want? Take it as lesson learned to not be a klutz. And nobody forced you to go, why would you go to a wedding for people you donāt like?

1 yIf the venue was negligent in maintaining the floor, or the couple was somehow negligent in contributing to the fall, perhaps. Otherwise no attorney is likely to take it.
00 Reply Sounds like Karen vs Karen. And i remember that you forced your kids on a wedding where the wedding was no children. All about you?
