My husband’s best man wants to give speech drunk. Should I be worried?

So to preface me and my husband secretly eloped a short while ago and are now going to have our official wedding ceremony. His best man said he is planning on drinking the whole day and deliver the best man speech drunk. I have been looking up things and am worried as I see lots of horror stories of best man giving inappropriate drunk speech and/or slurs/ etc. I’m also a bit peeved he didn’t ask if that was alright. I understand some people have a fear of public speaking. A do myself but I think at least being asked if it was alright would’ve made me feel better. Supposedly he’s always had a fear of public speaking and nervousness about it in general. I don't know am I justified in being worried? Any thoughts and has anyone seen this turning out to be alright?

Well... MOST of the speeches DO happen after a few drinks.

If you're super worried have one of your BMs on surveillance to ensure the guy doesn't go off the deep end.
