Is changing wives is a real thing?

Last day I read a story

There are three friends who are married, the make a decision that the will change their wives with each other on every weekend, before it they talk to their wives about it, they also agreed.

It was a long story, as my question ❓ is it possible?

What is your opinion on this?

Well, yes I have seen it on some TV series and short films on You Tube. That is referred as "Wife Swapping".

Possible? Yes it is possible, anything that is doable is possible. In case of wife swapping even if they agree willingly it is still morally and ethically wrong to do so.

I think this wife swapping things might happen in some high class societies or with people who are modern, ultra modern etc. Whatever it maybe to my it is outright disgusting.

In the 1970s, NY Yankee pitchers Fritz Peterson and Mike Kekich, who were friends iff the field, swapped wives. Each divorced his wife and married the other guy's wife.

So, it's not only possible, it happens.

The every weekend swap is less permanent than the pitchers' story. That's part of the swingers lifestyle.

You mean "swapping" or "swinging"... Sigh. APPARENTLY it was all the rage in the 70s and among some people this concept stuck so it still happens today. It falls in that very odd "open marriage" category. However it really defeats the point of being married in the first place.

It's possible and not the first time it's happened. Would I agree to it if I were married... No, it goes against every principle and or reason for marriage in the first place. If you're doing it then, how many others are you screwing around with?

I certainly would not do it if I was married. They do sound like Swingers and just want to fuck each other. I’ve been to a Swingers party several times with my friends with benefits and everyone was having sex with someone besides their wives.
