Is marriage just a piece of paper 📝?

I think a relationship between a man and woman is important but I sometimes think marriage is stupid.
Like the man is signing an agreement that can only be used against him badly in a breakdown in relationship. Why do we have to take all the risk, is it necessary to show love to a woman and have a family? No one is religious anyway.

It's got good and bad aspects to it. It's TOO easy to get into and SHOULD be only for a set period with continuation option after say 8 or 10 years then it can be renewed AND there should be advantages to remaining in a marriage legitimately in the form of lower insurance, mortgage rates or tax incentives.

Marriage is more than a piece of paper. If that's how you see it, you should not get married.

Having said that, yes marriage is risky, and especially for today's men. It's sad what women and the legal system have reduced marriage to now.

To me marriage is just a piece of paper & divorce lawyers love papers. As for I have never been married & if truth be told I don’t want to get married & nowadays I wouldn’t be stupid enough to say I Do.
