I don’t think it’s bad as long as the parents are mentally sane and financially stable. My cousin had two children out of wedlock. I’m not sure what her boyfriend works as but she works in a bank and has been before her two children were born. She was financially ready.

Because there are a lot of judgmental hypocritical people in this world , that try to rub their 2 cents together when they clearly don’t know Shit. Everyone comes from different paths in life and everyone experiences things their own ways , So to say something is right or wrong , doesn’t necessarily mean it’s right or wrong , not everyone on this planet is going to agree or disagree with the same things , I had 2 children out of wedlock because the mother of my children and I , didn’t need a marriage certificate to prove our love for each other , so we both decided to make babies together without caring about what other people think or say. Actually What most people should do , when they are in a relationship with someone , is to not really listen to what other people say about your relationship because they don’t know shit about your relationship period , unfortunately most people assume the worst case scenarios in a lot of things , but the truth is , they clearly don’t know shit about it they just assume they know when really they don’t.

It's because there is a DRAMATIC difference in the outcomes between children who are raised with both parents in the home and those who are not (and in case it isn't clear, those who come from homes without a father have significantly worse outcomes, both boys and girls). And couples who are married have traditionally been far more likely to stay together than those who are not - though this changed dramatically in the early 70s as Feminists pushed for divorce laws that financially incentivized divorce and heavily favored women. There is actually a trend for states to fix this - 8 states have either already changed divorce laws or are in the process of doing so, and another dozen are pursuing such changes but haven't actually submitted bills yet.
No question, the birth of any child is precious, but that has nothing to do with the fact that children born out of wedlock tend to be much less successful in life. It's incredibly selfish to have a child without first having secured a commitment with a partner so that the child can be brought up with both parents in the home. You are, essentially, suggesting that "two wrongs make a right" - that the fact that we have a shortage of children means that selfish and socially-destructive behavior should somehow become acceptable if it results in more children - but what is needed is more children WHO ARE SOCIALLY WELL-ADJUSTED AND WELL-POSITIONED. Yet another question that can be answered by nature.
The family unit with one male father and female mother has been the building block of the human (and its predecessor) herd for millions of years. Male and female parents each have distinct roles they are physically and mentally programed by nature to provide to ensure the strongest chance that their offspring will prosper and thrive.
It's all about survival of the species. Children are far more likely to thrive and succeed if they are raised in a two parent home so they can receive the benefits of both male and female parental roles. It has been that way throughout history and still is today.
So, like all the other things that some individuals of the herd do that don't help ensure the survival of the herd, the rest of the herd (also known as "Society") shuns the behavior to discourage it.
It's nature, evolution and survival. And survival of the species is the most important aspect of any species.

My problem with it is that I believe a child needs a father and that child needs his biological father. Because a biological father will give his life to protect that child. 2. Introduce child birth contracts, before conception occurs, with financial contributions agreed to and shared custody before the get go with DNA testing to ensure contractual obligations have been honored.
No body can have any beefs with child birth contracts because it is all pre facto.
Everybody will be happy with this revised scheme and there will be no stigma because all moms will be single moms and all fathers will have contractual rights.

I didn't say it was impossible to raise a child successfully as a single mother, but there is no question children fair better, and become more successful and better adjusted adults, when they are raised with both a mother and a father. Mothers don't know how to raise a son to be a good man, and they don't know how to raise their daughters to understand men and how to have healthy relationships with them. You can say all you want to justify being a single mother, but it will never change those facts.
