Should we remove marriage as a social expectation, especially for women?

Its a pressure for women, to get married.
And it's even worse for women after marriage, they have to do more work, focus on their career and take care of the house or the child.
It took me a lot of time to understand what men expect after marriage and what women expect after marriage and it's not good in most common situations.
There are only a handful of good examples. And those mostly when they are rich enough to make it happen (having a maid or a house helper)

We definitely should. Add to that the pressure of baring children. We live in a world that has changed and in which I personally believe there is no room for prioritising marriage and children because they're not solid guarantees of anything in life. There is so much more to our existence and I think it's not by getting married and having kids that you find true happiness and fulfillment especially if it's a choice made for the wrong reasons. I see and hear so many women and men that are married with children incredibly unhappy and I think there's a lot to learn from that honestly.

True, but I have met some couples who are parents now but they are incredibly happy...
Sorry to say but it depends on you and your partner how you handle the conditions.
Also being rich helps a lot.

Marriage is antiquated religious nonsense that was (and still is) forced upon people by making them believe that marriage is the consecration of what 2 people should have when they live together.

This old belief has absolutely no reason to be in the 21st. century because let's be honest. There is only a very small minority of people that remain faithful to each other until death does part them. In today's world, cheating and fornicating left and right is the rule rather than the exception. People also are emotionally unfaithful with each other.

This silly piece of paper should have been abolished decades ago.

I have been faithful for that long time but it's hard to find someone who is the same as well.
The issue is I am atheist or agnostic, I don't believe in religion.
And most women I met who are non religious want a short term.
