I read something today this girl had posted and it said remember if you get with me there is no returns you're stuck with me and if you think about that that is a beautiful thing because if more people were like that you have to really think about stuff and understand that it's not like it is nowadays where you don't like it you just throw it away and start all over when you have no returns that means you better figure it out and you better make it work and find the good parts and the good things and I think that would be the same as an arranged marriage you know you're in it now how deep do you want to go into it how how good can you be to make things work with no bull crap no nothing no excuses no point in the finger blaming you have to own it and I think that's hot really that's sexy I think because you have to fight for it and you have to make it good because you're not getting another chance and I think that is sexy

and I would just not have second thoughts about it... because the notion of what the world is now, would be not the norm... so, no problem

arranged by who? i have experienced parents arrange in religious jew. bad advice and i knew to break engagement - but - if arranged by a. i. that watched people all year like google search, it would probably suggest good match at least 80% of matches. the couple would be near enough to cooperate for common goals.

I remember seeing a study where the arranged marriages actually last longer and better. I obviously have no clue, but it would make sense. You're genetic line isn't going to fuck you up like in a horrible way. But that leads me to ask... who exactly is arranging the marriage?

As for living in a world where marriages are arranged some people live in that world & some people don’t. As for me I always say if you never try you will never know & I’m sure if I had to I would or at least give it a go & hopefully there is a 30 day trial.

Technically all marriages are arranged marriages. Two people are introduced by a 3rd party is what an arranged marriage really is.

Culturally there is bit bit of song and dance, but essentially it's the same basic process.

@rini02 is this a defense for arranged marriages? Forgive me if I am wrong but most people like being able to choose their partners. While yeah you could also end up in a bad marriage of their free will they still have the choice of walking away. With arranged you’re just stuck with what you get
