Is it ok to not want to get married?

All I've ever seen in my life are terrible marriages. My parents marriage is terrible my sisters marriage is miserable my grandparents on both. sides were married multiple times. I don't think I would be happy being married. You constantly have to worry about being cheated on , you worry about being good enough for your spouses family and their parents could HATE you to death and disown your children ( my situation). Not to mention the truth n of cash for a wedding and the cost of a divorce. Plus if we had kids all the bad things they could do in life and I pay for it. No one I see married is happy.

Marriage can be a beautiful thing as you put in the hard work and work through things overtime you get to enjoy the fruits of that labour with the love of your life. At the end of the day you have a person to call your husband/wife. You have them to support you through your hardships and achieve your goals.

.. Well now that's what marriage is "supposed" to look like (for the most part). But things don't turn out like that for everyone. Some cheat, lie and betray. Few times luck's just not on your side so no matter how much work you put in things just don't work out.

It's okay to want a different outcome for yourself. Marriage is hard work, but it's also an incredibly rewarding hard work. It's a big decision with so much on stake it makes a lot of people wary of the whole process. It's definitely not like an item on a to-do list that you should feel pressured into doing. Like "Must have it, otherwise won't live life to the fullest".

It's okay if you do not want to get married but not all marriages are terrible I'd say most are actually good and peaceful.
