My boyfriend and i have been together 2.5 years now and have talked about marriage a good bit. I recently brought up wanting a ring just joking around and he says hopefully i will get working on that soon. Should i not be concerned that he hasn’t started putting money back to save for this?

Men will always say what they think you want to hear. Take it with a grain of salt. He might be genuine, but don't hold your breath on it.
