He gives a long piercing gaze?

After reading about body language, a magazine indicates that when a guy gives a long piercing glaze it most likely means that he's a player and wants to sleep with a woman (me) and most likely not in it for long term. Is this true? Or is it best to determine his intentions by getting to know him better.

Anyway, I don't know, but the thing about long piercing gazes is that those are definitely done on purpose, right? No way the guy isn't aware of what he's doing. It's still easier to tell his intentions if he's smiling and giving other hints, but what are you supposed to think when they just stare seriously?

Your answer is funny LOL. I gotta play devils advocate here. Guys stick together and are very loyal to their true friends. Therefore, I question his best friends intentions and wonder of his best friend is hating and is also attracted to you or doesn't want the friend to hook up with any female so they can continue to be single. Guys don't normally say that to other females they are not good friends with and they definitely don't betray their male friendship like that either.

Get to know him first. Sometimes I can't help myself from those piercing gazes into the girl that I love, but that's only because I get lost in her eyes.

He might just be very interested in you, it doesn't always mean he wants to get into bed with you. (sometimes it does)

But give him a chance(and the benefit of the doubt).
