Is anybody else tired of Feminazis?

Let me clarify:

Feminism-promoting equal opportunity for women..the vast majority of Americans agree with Feminism although the word itself is now commonly used in contemporary culture to describe radical ideals and misandry.

Feminazis-Women and some men who think that "masculinity" as it is understood is essentially bad and that men's role in society needs to be reformed (basically guys should be more feminine, because being feminine is superior and good) They want masculinity to become something different than it already is?

They've coined 2 interesting words I've noticed:

"Patriarchy"-The world as it is run by men who want to keep women down and demean women.

"Rape Culture"-the idea that scantly clad women in rap music videos magically transforms men into savage rapists who view all women as objects upon watching said video.

I don't claim to kno that everything about the wage gap but I think its somewhat overblown. But most feminazis are more concerned with social issues when they should be devoting their energy to actual inequalities that might be present in the workplace.

But anyway, I get tired of feminazi types getting all bent out of shape about things that are normal of guys: OK, we like boobs, war movies, football and a lot of women do too..if you want a guy that's more "evolved" or whatever then that's fine...there's plenty of people on this planet and there is probably a guy that's right for you, but don't go around telling all women that there is some need to wage war against "the patriarchy". They may say that they are okay with stay at home moms but I suspect that seeing a mother stay at home while her husband makes all the money makes their skin crawl. I don't believe in a "woman's place" or a "man's place". But to say that gender roles don't play a role in the masses is foolish and trying to make people feel guilty about how they want to live or telling them that the "patriarchy" is brainwashing them is just dumb. O. and if anyone is upset about using therm "femi-nazi" particularity the "nazi" part : watch this and lighten up. link

I'm a feminist, I don't really think men's roles in society need to be reformed, or that they should be more feminine. Don't know any (reasonable) feminists that do either, though I do think traditional gender roles can be kind of limiting and harmful in some cases. Maybe some of the more radical ones do believe that for whatever strange reason, which is what I guess you meant by feminazi.

Although, we do have somewhat of a rape culture. Other countries have a completely extreme rape culture. It's not this made up thing. And it's not just sh*t in music videos, I think you might be misunderstanding it.

If you read the whole thing, you'll notice that some of those descriptions ring true about a lot of Western countries' perception of rape as well.

That article is another case of women reading into things...I kno lots of girls that like to roleplay like tehy are being raped or like it "rough" in the bedroom...are they being "oppressed"? Plus there's guys that like women to inflict pain on them for sexual pleasure....some people just are into that.

Yeah, people are into that stuff and there's nothing wrong with that. But that's completely unrelated. I think it's just the fact that 1 in 6 women will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime, and the fact that sexual harassment is often seen as normal, and for both examples people often blame the victim - for dressing a certain way, or acting a certain way. Also, rape is often downplayed in the media. Her link had a lot of good examples, and they are all too common.

The media downplays it? Waht about when the whole world was out to crucify the Duke Lacrosse players? the case got dragged out way longer than it should have..luckily the DA lost his job when all was said and done.

I think many men are tired of feminazi women. They are now marrying foreign women because of this. Colombian women seem to be in great demand since they are perceived to be less feminist than American women as shown in this video

I don't think that's true..there plenty of colelfe professors that cna say all they want about men, that if said about women...would surely get them fired.

Have you been to college before? I've taken sexuality courses and women's studies courses as electives and never once was anyone, male or female, reprimanded for speaking negatively about radical feminists.

I would never pay moeny for one of those courses-however I know soem girls that did and ende up dropping it...they said the SCUM manifesto was required reading.

Absolutely...at a college campus there is an atmosphere of extreme tolerance unless your male, white or Christian....then any bashing is welcome
