What does it mean when your boyfriend doesn't give you something for your birthday?

Well in my birthday, my boyfriend didn't give me a gift and he just call me once and then he didn't return my call at all. I was inviting him to my house but he didn't answer me.He says he cares but he showed me that is not true. I don't care about the gift, what I care is about the thought of him giving me something or at least being with me. He works a lot and I don't get to see him that much. I haven't talk to him at all or he hasn't called me. Please help me and I'm thinking of breaking up with him

okay, this is tough one because I'm sure you want things to work out but don't know if it's thie best thing to do. I would confront him about it. I'm not talking about he gift or the phone call. start it off by saying something like "i missed you on my birthday.." and seee what he says. His answer will influence your decision a lot. I would think about it and see if he changes and then decide whether of not to break up wtih him. hope that helped.

Either he was really busy or he's just an asshole. Make sure he wasn't just busy before you break up with him.
