My first boyfriend had teamed up with my best friend at the time and they both bought me a HUUUUGE teddy bear. He also bought me another teddy bear for our anniversary. But they werent my favorite surprises.
He had given me 3 very lovely surprises in forms of actions. 1) for my last birthday before i moved he threw me my very own "surprise" birthday party. Though he and his mom were the only guests it still made me smile
2) for our last Valentine's day together he arranged for me to come to his house and eat lunch with him. He covered my eyes and led me to the back yard and SURPRISE!! It was an adorable Valentine's day picnic underneath his biggest tree!! He even fake proposed with a ring pop 😂😂
3) One time i was really sad and he jumped on his bike and raced down to my house. It was POURING.
So yeah they weren't exactly something i could physically keep but they were little surprises!! It was cute!

I haven't had too many gifts from my guy. He was so poor he didn't even have money for food for months and months and when I asked him where he wanted to eat for his birthday he told me instead of taking him to a restaurant he just wanted money so he could go and buy himself groceries and eat more meals. I guess one gift I got from guys who liked me but weren't dating me was free rides to friends houses and emotional support when I was going through difficult things. However, after I got a boyfriend - he stopped inviting me to hang out with him on days we did not have christian activities going on.

I can't say I got any that was romantic, unless a plane wallet and a flash t-shirt counts (she knew I liked the show and thought about what I liked).
I gave her a good box of chocolates from a good chocolate shop on the west coast (Sees Candy's). She's never had them before since she's on the east coast, and I gave it with a hand written poem I wrote that melted her heart... And rose on top that. I count the whole package as a gift. That's probably the most romantic one I gave and on Valentine's day.

Hmm, one of those sweet books filled with pictures. What is the name of the company... shutterfly! :) yea, I gave one and they liked it so much they gave me one, tbh I only looked at it a few times in a year but it's a very thoughtful gift.
I think every gift I've ever gotten has been thoughtful, like my ex got me a book, a hat (to keep me warm bc I didn't have one, some cocoa, pusheen socks, and some candy that he knew I liked (but it was expensive)) and that was very thoughtful because I didn't think he was "paying attention" to my likes like that. And I didn't know he would give so many things as well because I always try to get the smallest gifts as possible (no more than 3) and he was just a college student with a part time job, so, I knew it took a lot for him to give me those giftsWas in high school from someone who I didn't deserve to have like me - she out of the blue gave me a birthday gift of a new zealand themed santa hat (where i'm from) - shows she knew about me & got a gift that was personal.
I feel so horrible for how I handled that whole situation though, I was such an idiot back in the day.I love everything he does! But for my birthday in April he gave me roses and a box of chocolates and I’m thinking ok... this is more Valentine’s Day stuff but then he was like open the chocolates and there were tickets to a baseball game hidden in the box! He had put the ribbon back on the box so well I didn’t think he had opened it.
I don't want to sound ungrateful but I've never felt the gifts I got were very romantic or very me. First ex got me expensive stuff to one-up my parents. Second one's gifts felt like he remembered last minute and bought something. Next boyfriend will be trained to buy good stuff.
I remember in elementary it was valentines everyone was getting love letters it was a thing in our school to give love letters and i didn’t expect one because i was the classclown and i knew nobody cared about me but i got one it almost made me cry I loved it
When I was little one of the boy's in my class bought be a pack of crayons and stickers and made me card on Valentine's day and I gave him a big kiss on the cheek. Shame he grow up to be such a douche bag lol
A phone on my birthday.
He had tons of financial commitments to pay yet he got me the lastest phone model as my phone broke few days before my birthday. I was really touchedI can't think of anything off the top of my head, but i do know the most romantic i gave. I spent $400 to get the girl i liked a sterling siver chain and 3 sterling silver charms with small diamonds scattered throughout and a crystal dolphin statue.
I still remember the day my crush gave me a tiny piece of paper in my hand. I opened it and it had "You're my best friend!" in it. Ah, good times.
For Valentine's Day, the girl I dated at the time got me a custom metal guitar pick that had engraved, "I Pick You."
Though I'm not much into guitar, she knew how much I love both music and puns and that's what I loved most about it.My boyfriend gives me a corsage for a gift. for my leaver prom
Unfortunately, no romantic gift but I will say either a sweet Valentine's day card from a girl or a girl coming up to me and telling me I was cute
A handmade needle-felted keychain! It was really cute. The relationship didn't end well though. Thanks to my parents forcing us apart. I got so sad i threw it out the window.
12 bunches of roses over the course of the day for my bday!
Sadly, nothing but i ain't in a relationship at the moment but in my last relationship he ddnt give me anything but we were in a LDR so..
A rose , a simple necklace and a letter. He gaved me those when we turned a month since we started to be together.
My ex when we were together sent me a photoshoot of herself. She said she'll sent me something. Never knew it was that, I actually was impressed that she spent so much time on that
I m single. So never received a gift.
When I will be in a relationship (mission impossible) I would like a gift that my partner is hard working. Not for me but at least for our child. The most romantic i ever received was a glass block in which a prose was written... and that prose really connected to my life.. but i still dont know who gave it to me. I m still searching who gave it to me.
Never gotten one, well... not unless you count a certain kind of picture from a long distance friend on your birthday.
