What was the best Valentine's Day gift you've ever received?

My favorites are always the homecooked meals and snacks and they're actually some of the most common I receive in Japan. My favorite was when my wife cooked me a giant roasted leg of mutton, like this:
My wife calls it "caveman meat" and it's among my favorites whether it's like a giant chicken leg or turkey leg or mutton.
Also received some baked cookies that my niece-in-law made for me last year. I really liked that even though I don't like cookies (I tried one and gave the rest to my wife who likes cookies). It's the thought that counts.
It was pretty simple, a one year Ontario Parks admission card. It allowed me to stop by any provincial park in Ontario and use the facilities. Myself and whomever is in my vehicle could go in an use the day use areas, beaches, hiking/ski trails, BBQ pits, facilities anytime I/we wanted.
I used it all the time and explored about 15 parks all over Ontario. I'd go and make lunch or have dinner in the day use areas if I was away working in the vicinity of one.
Every year since I was a kid my dad gets me something for Valentines, my favorite are chocolates. I also always help my dad pick something out for my mom, sometimes I’ll ask her what she’s hoping he’ll get her and I’ll go with my dad and pick out something similar but not exact so she doesn’t catch on. Valentine’s Day has always been really special for me and my dad, it’s a father daughter bonding experience I think more people should do.
My boyfriend once got me a gold necklace with two hearts and had both our names on it. It was really cute and sweet.
Yes it was!

A bouquet of roses and daisies ❤️
I try to dry them too. I plan on saving a few flowers from every bouquet he gets me.
valentines day isn't a thing in my generation in my country. the younger generation started adopting it more but it's still not "super" common.
My friends had Evo7's installed on my RG1527, and had it refretted with stainless steel frets and PLEKed. Hard to top that for me.
Chocolates.. So I can eat them🤤🫦
Just a happy valentines day, that's about it.
Guys don't get jack shit for Valentine's Day.
Exactly, All men do on Valentine’s Day is spend their hard earned cash on women who don’t deserve it.
I’m sorry you don’t get anything you like for Valentines, that sucks. You should tell them you want something too and something you realistically like and if they say something like you should just appreciate what they get you or that you don’t appreciate them if you don’t like what they got you ask them how’d they feel if you got them something they didn’t like every year, tell them that’s unfair and makes you feel unloved by them. I always make my boyfriend homemade ramen and his favorite pie and also give him a back massage every year, I’ll also just straight up ask him sometimes hey you want something different this year in case he ever wants something else.
@SolitarySolace Maybe rather express yourself to your partner stating what you desire. 😭 I mean no one can read your mind so tell her what you want.
@MackAMills Lol I’m not assuming anything 😭. Of course I don’t know what goes on in his relationship, but not stating his desire doesn’t get him what he wants, might as well follow another tactic by making his desires known, then if she still doesn’t get him anything then breaking up is justified.
