Do men actually enjoy handmade gifts from their girlfriends or are they pretending?

I like to make things for my partners in relationships. I don't only give them handmade things for special occasions, I buy them something nice as well. One gift I know they really want, one from the heart. I personally think things like that are great, you know the person put in a lot of effort and creativity just for you instead of only grabbing something off the rack. I like to occasionally gift them poems I wrote for them, Dream catchers made from hand, jars with cute notes, drawings, small welding art pieces, stickers I made, etc. Do guys actually enjoy receiving these things or do you pretend so you don't hurt your ladies feelings? Either way I wouldn't mind but I'd like to know so I don't have to waste my time and efforts for something they may view as clutter.

We men can actually like them crafted gifts. We can also not like them crafted gifts and just pretend (why cause drama?). That depends on the man.
But I will give you one lifehack secret into a man's heart (no, this time I don't mean his favorite meal or sex because these 2 are probably the most common recommendations available).

Find something, that will be PRACTICALLY useful for him. That will get in touch with men! What does he need? What practical problem, task, issue or objective can be completed with that gift? I'm not talking about screwdrivers and welding machines (although if he really needs those, then why not but then again, they're not handmade). If he has for example long hair, consider gifting him hairbands. If he likes to go swimming and he has long hair, consider gifting him a cap to keep his hair dry when he's out swimming. If his wiring is a mess, consider giving him reusable cable ties (although that one is a less personal example). Think of how you can enhance/augment your man.

Yep you hit it on the nail, most helpful award does go to you! Thank you for the tips as well, I was starting think that was the way to go especially because my man is a practical guy. Not too materialistic so anything he can actually use I think would be much more appreciated. I appreciate the kind words and advice a lot !!

Its rough. You're a giving, loving and creative person. You're your own product so you are special and are in the minority. Men will try to understand why you do what you do which mist peices are not brought up with giving something from the heart whether self created or fully assembled. So by being around creativeness will showcase your talents and you'll have a broader amount of people crossing your path and understanding and appreciating all you have to offer. Everyone is different it's not wrong it's just another variation. See it as a plus. Everybody is not on the same page. They may be close but close is no cigar

I always try to make it something that isn't too useless. like I was planning on making a custom backpack for him so he could ride his sport bike without it falling off, i drew his gma a nice picture of their dog who passed and framed it for them, I've done the jar type things a lot in the past for people but I started questioning whether or not it would just be annoying for them to have to find a place for it. I just really care about the people in my life and show my love through little gifts. Maybe its a bit overwhelming. Thanks for the feedback!
