He keeps mentioning his birthday?

So this guy I have a bit of a crush on has for the second week in a row mentioned that his birthday is coming up..over the past couple of years I would send him somewhat of a sexy birthday message (jokingly) and I know when his birthday is but he keeps mentioning that it's coming up...why? Does he want to make sure that I send him a birthday message...or is there another reason he is mentioning it?

Could be what Omar01 said. But also could be that he is pushing the hint for a "special" gift (sex). I would say you need to figure the context it is given in to know what his meaning is.

he probably has a crush on you too so he wants you to be there to celebrate it with him and it would be a reason to hang out with you as he might be shy
