Valentine's Day

He forgot my birthday and he's very unapologetic about it?

So my birthday was yesterday. I got a text at midnight that day from my birthday, but it wasn't a nice happy birthday wish. All he wanted to know was if we were hanging out later that day. I said yes and that was the end of that conversation. I thought ok maybe he's just tired as he just got off of work and didn't remember just yet. If worse comes to worst he'll see it when he checks Facebook in the morning. I went to my one class of the day in the morning and waited for him to text me telling me I can come over. I waited for an hour and a half (he knows when I get out of class) and he finally texted me telling me that he's awake. No mention of my birthday. It was already 1:30 by now and i made it to his place by 2. My boyfriend opened the door and quickly say back down to continue his video game. After about an hour I asked my him if he remembered my birthday was today. He responded, more like scoffed actually "oh yeah.. well happy birthday". I got visibly upset and he got mad at me presumably because he thought I wanted a gift and how I was petty for wanting him to drop all his money on me. This argument came up when he bought himself a guitar instead of an anniversary gift for me (I got him a 150 dollar present that he had been gawking over for months) and when Valentine's Day came around and he didn't get me anything and wouldn't even let me watch a chick flick with him (again I got him a really nice gift) I always go full on for his birthdays and last year he did something nice for mine too. I'm just upset and feeling like he doesn't get it. All I wanted was a sweet text message or card and all I got was a fight.
