What are some of the worst and most useless gifts you ever received?

It's hard yo remember the less memorable gifts because I don't really value material gifts much, they don't really stick to memory.
But I can remember in my younger far more spoiled days I got a shirt from my mother. It was far from useless, practically. But the design was far out from my liking so I never used it, sadly. There was a picture of a kid pulling his pants down and showing his ass on it in a cartoon-style. I didn't want to wear it. But i hindsight I guess I was an asshole, so.. yeah.

The all time two worst gifts:

1. A small ceramic duck with a lint brush on the bottom.

2. An indoor/outdoor thermometer which required a hole drilled in the wall for a temperature probe to be routed to the outside. At that time, I lived in university off-campus housing that had brick and concrete walls which were at least 12" thick.

Both gifts were given to me one Christmas by the girl who was about to become my ex-girlfriend.

When I was 16 my cousin came to visit me from America and bought me a jelly belly machine that gives you jelly belly candies through a mechanical hand and the jelly belly machine was ugly, required batteries and the jelly’s did not taste good either. And I remember my aunt would buy me baked potatoes from McDonald’s when I asked for sausage wraps. They said the baked potato was better than the sausage wrap but I did not like the way it tasted.

I wouldn’t say that about any gift I’ve received actually. It was given with genuine love and thought which is all I need in a gift. Of course some things I couldn’t use/eat but that didn’t make me any less happy because of the thought behind it.

Many years back when girlfriend got me one of those lightweight garden hoses and a shower gun to go with it for my birthday. Who needs a hose like that? Women because it's "too much work" to lug a full weight hose. I already had the normal garden hose stuff. She had been saying she wanted that light stuff for herself. I had already bought her the same kind of stuff but she forgot about it. I pointed out that she just got a gift for herself.

By the later half of the 1960s, I was starting to get into psychedelic rock music like Jefferson Airplane, the Doors, Steppenwolf, Jimi Hendrix and other stuff like that. One Christmas around 1968 or 9, an aunt and uncle gave me a Don Ho album.
