What do you think of this bird house?

My mom thought it would be fun if we painted our own bird houses and put them in the yard. The problem is that the cheap ones all come in groups of 2 or 4 because sellers are too lazy to ship your product if they make less than X dollars on selling their product. Like I don’t mind painting one bird house but I think I would be bored if I painted 4 or 6.

Maybe paint one for each season? Snowflakes, daffodils, sunflowers, red leaves, respectively?

They look more like garden ornaments than bird houses. That big front hole offers no protection against predators so a lot of birds will reject the box. If you're serious about getting one look at local wildlife charity sites they'll either recommend certain ones or sell them themselves.

I never liked those without a door that reaches to the floor, so the birds can just hop in, not only fly in.
Maybe I am wrong - never had one, never tried to see whether a bird preferred the higher up opening vs the one that goes to the floor of the house - but a proper door, for me, seems obvious.

Do one today, do another next month. Paint holidays, seasons, just a solid color. Varnish. Just leave it raw. Don't tackle all at once is key

Painting a bird house should not take more than 5 minutes. They look like nice bird houses. If Iwas a bird I would move in there.
