What's your opinion about self checkout taking over the registers, while opening up new jobs where they'll shop for you? Lazy or crazy?

I think it's a fair trade off. Fast makes sense in this day and age. Save time for life. I feel like there's very few times I'd rather go inside a store. Higher risk of getting sick, other humans all around you, running into old highschool lovers, assholes and other annoyances. Other than old people stuck to their routine scheduled multi-hour long shopping trips whats the difference. Plus you just get what you came for, not that one thing you came there for plus half the snack aile... isle... I'll... section... snack section.

The stores that has self checkout really don’t need self checkout and the stores that don’t they freaking need it. Any Ralphs that I ever go to no matter the day or the time nobody is ever in there. Food 4 Less on the other hand. No matter which one it is, no matter what day it is and if you don’t get there as soon as it opens it’s going to be crowded. I don’t have the patience to wait to wait in stupid long lines. I really don’t

I refuse to use self check out. It's not my job, I do not get paid for it so why should I be forced to check my self out?

I don't mind them if I've only a couple of items but for a proper shop I think the old way is quicker. Plus in the uk for some items they've got to come and check your age and that really slows it down. If something won't scan it can be a pain too.

Yeah, I mean I haven't run into as many issues with it plus I just have em deliver it so I dont have to deal lol. It does depend on what you're trying to buy for sure though.

You're gold, not old haha routine is fine as long as you're open to change for making better routines. Time is higher currency than money could ever be to me and my sense of reality. The currencies just run hand in hand when under government control.

I know that. I'm saying like going from self checkout to free home deliveries type a thing. And it ain't even a a huge thing. I've just been real satisfied getting deliveries for free here lately. I'd be fine with your stubburn ass though lol

Sometimes if I'm really busy I'll pay the premium to have the shopper gather the items for me. I always have such a shit time trying to find things anyways.
