Help should I buy an inflatable bed or keep my sofa? My sofa is flea tick infested help?

I have no pets. But my lanlord has pets. I live in a studio and my studio is in her backyard.

I have bites itchy on my feet and legs. I see Tiny fleas jumping on my hands/body. My sofa I bought it a year and half ago but was used. I can’t buy a new sofa as I plan move out in few months. Should I throw away this sofa this weekend and buy a queen inflatable Bed with head rest that’s about $100? Or keep the sofa and buy a tick flea spray for couches/carpet?

Air mattresses won't solve your problem & they suck for long term because they are constantly losing air and you have to re-inflate them. Sometimes multiple times in a single night depending on how firm you like the bed to be.

For fleas.. I would bomb that place like someone else said. But it probably will only help for 2-3 days at a time. If Ortho Home Defense works on fleas (not sure, check)... you can spray all all along the edge of the rooms & door frames. That keeps other bugs out 100%.

Document your bites with pics & write official letter complaint to the landlord... you need documentation. Then if you decide to go to court later it's easier.

Nah you don’t need to throw those out. Just get rid of the fleas with a flea bomb or spray or whatever, and give it a thorough wash afterwards.

I worry that my new inflatable mattress will also have fleas.. I saw flea on the floor and one in my leg. But maybe they r coming from the sofa jumping on the floor

I also have an air vent open and above me there’s an attic and the owenrs dogs all live there 4 of them.

Lucky you’re moving in a few months. I would recommend that you still flea bomb your place, simply getting rid of the sofa won’t solve the flea infestation. Flea bombing won’t be a permanent fix if you’re living directly underneath the dogs, especially with the air vent being open, but maybe a flea bomb once a month until you move out would be worthwhile.
