Almost 1.5yrs ago, a girl i met in college, we ended up becoming great friends.
We were besties..
And I had a horrible old pencil box, I didn't cared about it's rustic appearance, but she did, she bought me a small adorable green pouch to replace it.. I stopped caring a rustic pencil box after that.
It's very valuable to me.
I will cherish it forever 💙💙💙 🤗🤗

Besides gift certificates which I always appreciate my wife got me a whole pile of new t-shirts and gym shorts. A local department store was going out of business and she got it all on sale.

One of those happy yet sad moments, they are the best.

My son, 18 going into Uni, surprised me by having flowers delivered for my birthday. It was that extra moment of realizing he is no longer a child that needs his mum. Plus to know he is not one of those kids that is entitled makes me a proud parent.

For my birthday in 2021, my cousin got me 5 pasta dinners at an Italian place and it was the best thing ever. A week later, she got me a lunch at Red Lobster which had crab pasta and it was the best thing I ever had in my entire life. She did delivery through door dash cause she lived in another country.

Am gonna sound very boring and harsh. Last guft i got was 9 years ago when i turned 30. We went to a large zoo and aquarium and really loved the surprise. So i might get something exciting next year when i turn 40.
