My friend wants me to keep her birthday gifts simple, but is having a big birthday in a few months. Should I give her a special, glittery card, a freshwater pearl necklace and a glittery notebook, or is that too much?

Uhh yeah that's probably too much. Like a necklace and glittery stuff for her birthday? That sounds like something you'd get a girl you like not just your friend. I'd maybe just get like one thing, the card or the notebook, and keep it chill. Don't wanna look like you're trying too hard ya know? Maybe make the card yourself too, girls like that homemade stuff. But yeah don't wanna come on too strong, just keep it casual.
