Guys is it a bad thing if I can't accept an expensive gift? There's this guy who likes me (we didn't make it official until we meet in September) he has an online store selling tech products he wants to send me some stuff but it's really expensive and extra gifts for free
I said I won't accept if I don't pay

I believe it depends on the way that you'll say it. Also, a benefit would be to tell him in some way that he'll be reassured that you speak the truth (person to person if possible but a call/voice message does the job too)
