Have you ever had a complaint that a store or manufacturer wouldn't make right? What happened?

Yes. Years ago a flange broke off of the iron engine block of my car. The stealership said the engine would have to be replaced at my expense ($7,000) because they were refusing to honor the warranty. I appealed to the car company but they agreed with the stealership. At the time it didn't occur to me to file a complaint with the BBB. I thought I was out of options. I managed to get it repaired for about $2,100. l'm not going to mention any names for legal reasons, but I'm not going to give a dime of business to either the stealership or car company again, obviously.
