Do you think it's a day worth celebrating if in love? Do you think it should become a celebration for friendship too?

I definitely think it is worth to celebrate for those, who are into it and actually celebrate their love...

personally, I don't care for it because down here... it's been tainted with cliché and consumerism, and it can be really annoying... none of my exes was ever into it either so, I just grew up like that... never made a fuss about it, lol

however... also, down here... Valentines has always been about friendship too... and that's also how kids and teens grow up with it, a day to celebrate fraternal love in general and your beloved ones too

Some People are so Badly Burned by Love that they cannot Step their foot forward for Love..

When I went to the stores today they were packed with people buying stuff for Valentine's Day tomorrow.
Heart shaped balloons 🎈 that said I love you.
Greeting cards and various Valentine's Day gifts.

So it's a pretty popular day.

The holiday is clearly made for the sake of money, same as St. Patrick’s Day. Any and all religious meaning is completely lost in the face of consumerism. Still, I do appreciate any excuse to tell the people who matter to me that I love them and this is a very convenient excuse.
