Are diamonds on eBay usually real, and is pawn shop jewelry safer?

Or is it better to buy secondhand diamonds from a pawnbroker? I don’t have much money and I’d like to buy some of my relatives some real diamond jewellery without breaking the bank.

If the eBay store is an extension from a real jewelry store with certificates, etc., buy from them. Not sure I would trust a pawnshop.

eBay will tell you which transactions you can trust and authenticate, and they will back you up.
