In my business, I've bought a few Krugerrands and most recently paid £2,800 against a sale of £3,060

In shared terms, 20% later 10% of a 1994 Lincoln stretch limousine I put £200 in and it was later sold for £4,000

When I bought 16 years ago, it was a buyer's market. I got it for $219,000. I bought a lower end house in an expensive neighborhood and did work on it. Now it's worth over $550k because of where it is and the upgrades. The avg price in our town is $429k.
