I'm broke and my girlfriend's birthday is coming soon, what can I do?

So as of right now, I am Broke. I have $1.07 in my name. And my girlfriend's birthday is coming up. I wanna get her something but have no money to do so, and I'm not getting paid soon enough. I can't complain in the reason I only have that much money, since I willingly gave her money to pay for her insurance (long story behind that).

I just wanna know what's a good gift to give her when I'm unable to go all out like I would wish I could.

You can do something at her house or something, in which you surprise her with breakfast in bed, and swoon her all day with messages and catering? Can make a card or buy a 99 cent one and put a heartfelt letter in it, set up a picnic in a beautiful park and go for hikes or something like that?

do you have anything you can sell on craigslist.or ..just get her a card and let her know that when you get your next paycheck you would like to take her out for a nice dinner .she should understand after you did something that nice for her.

how about something that does not cost money but something you do as a gift. like can you cook a special dinner with stuff you have around? the effort means more than the cost. maybe?

Make something. Maybe out of leaves and pine cones. That's what I'd want.

She should understand, technically you already bought a gift, paying for er sh*t. Maybe make up a photo album comprised of you two and decorations around and explain how much she means to you. I guess somewhat of a scrap book.

I like that scrap book idea... if things in the relationship goes south, they get to burn it and make themselves feel better. Two-in-one. Thoughtful gift and emotional discharge.
