Okay so my boyfriend got me a love necklace and another with my initial on it...I found it he was going to try to engrave one necklace saying I Love (my initial name) and well I was going to get him something (a New Jersey devils hat) which is almost 40 and my friend told me that my boyfriend spent 20 dollars (woohoo) and well I didn't know that before and I told him I was getting him something and he just needed to wait..but should I still get it for him? Or is it too much for one month? :/ I don't know please help me out here.
Gift-giving is all about the heart and for a first month anniversary, it's okay to over think it but you don't need to.
If he likes the hat (and the Devils), then go get it for it for him!. I think he'd be happy that you got him something he wanted. He probably won't even care about the price.
On the safe side, if you think that he will care about it or freak out because it strips off his "manliness" of being the provider, then cut off the tag. If he asks about the price, tell him "Don't worry about it. I got it at a GREAT price." (See the pun?)
Hope this helps! :D
