Age doesn't matter.
In my country the legal age of consent is 15, so if somebody is 14 or younger, I might say sorry can't comment on this because you are under 15, and I'll continues to say so.
It's inappropriate to comment on sexual attributes for minors.
That's why I said "not everything has to be sexual." There is nothing wrong with telling a minor they are beautiful.
Actually I find it inappropriate to link the word beautiful to a minor, cute I and deal with but beautiful is a sexually charged word in my view.
But you are right of course about anything non-sexual, I know teens especially late teens can be like adults in many way, so I don't mind talking politics or religion with teens they are old enough to understand and argue. Sexual subjects should however be restricted to the home and school class, especially since the internet have more than it's share of pedofile's.
How much below the age of 18 are we referring to? Because there is TOO young, like 13 or 14. Does all you say here apply to young teens and preteens?
During your teenage years, I think it depends more on the individual, not the age.
