I am not speaking about the programs that help people out for a little while, and help them seek employment. I've known people collecting welfare for life. I'm pretty sure this isn't new or surprising to you.

This take isn't about collecting welfare for life. It's about those who seek to take from the government by any means that they can. I am sure you've heard of the EBT cards. They are as good as cash. You can get cash balance and food balance on them as well. Plenty of people go in the stores (this is illegal) and trade the cash on the card, for real cash.
You can be in EBT for years as well as many other government programs.

She is ONE person. She doesn't represent the majority. Your train of thought is that people shouldn't have kids if they can't afford them. I come from a very wealthy family. Didn't mean shit. My parents were too busy to be in my life. My best friend was the complete opposite. Her mother struggled to raise her and her brothers. But by your standards she never should've had kids right?
