I consider myself a true egalitarian, and therefore if a woman hits me I sure as fuck am hitting her back. To hold back would be sexist.

I'm 5'6'', so that's not really true. And I couldn't care less about what some random stranger on the internet thinks of me, all I'm saying is that I don't care what's in someone's pants. If they hit me, they're getting hit.

I think the problem with women today is men haven't hit them enough. A lot of the times, especially in marketing which is predominantly a female job, these women grew up with daddy paying their college degree and buying them a car they get whatever they want because they were never told no, and then as soon as they have a position in power its just a bunch of diversity bullshit and sex with whomever and anything goes and then by thirty five, all of their good years were filled up with STD's and career choices and they have to get artificial insemination and that birth extending operation and they just wither away like trash.

Fathers: when your daughter does something stupid hit her.
Husbands: when your wife does something stupid, hit her.

If a future husband hits me, he'll get assault charges filed against him along with divorce papers. My mother was hit several times in the marriage and I ain't putting up with that BS. Why should he hit me when I'm not a crazy psycho? That's contradicting isn't it?

Since when should anyone be allowed to hit another person (man or woman)?

By your logic if my husband does something stupid... then I should hit him as well too? Or is it only about men hitting us? I don't agree with anyone hitting any one. No one deserves to be hit.

Maybe you have a dumb idea, like, "Hey, honey, let's allow a large black dude in on our love making, and maybe you watch from the closet." Then you'll never have an idea like that again, because you'll be knocked into shape.

The problem with society is we have all of these pussy fag men with no testosterone raised by "empowered" women who have mush for brains, because all they've ever needed to do was be cute and pay attention to pass classes and then dump information after all of the tests, and they end up thinking that people care about what dream they had last night.

No, because males are the dominant sex in a relationship. Why would you hit him? He'd could kill you.

So I have to tolerate getting hit just because he's stronger physically? He can act stupid and say all he wants to and I have to put up with it but if I do it, then he automatically has some ''rights'' to hit me?

Him trying to kill me? well in that case, I will have to kill him first. I will defend myself in any way if someone is trying to kill me, even fighting dirty if I have to. Hot grits on his face perhaps.

But seriously, no one deserves to ever be hit if it's not even a real case of self-defense.

i can see your point in some ways about not hitting women out of respect for them and such so i personally find nothing wrong with it but i would respectfully disagree with it in one situational time, witch would be if i think for what ever reason my life is in danger which then i would personally invoke the law of necessity for my self defence and well being.

the way i view that sort of situation on the edge of self preservation from harm is not a man against a woman but a human being who wishes to do me harm, that being said they would have one warning

Real men defend themselves from dangerous sistuations even if it means hitting a woman in order to do so?

So what if your 10 year old son slapped 13 year old daughter for slapping him? Maybe he doesn't believe same way as you. Would you punish him for going against your beliefs?

So you'd let a woman kill you than hit her to stop. Then, that makes you a weak man by not defending yourself.

By your responses it shows you are missing the points. Women usually do just stand there and be a punchbag , because they know they are outmatched by a man. A woman can't restrain a man. He has other options than to hit out. i've nevern known a woman to fight a man back if he hits her , she is usually floored in seconds

I'm not saying it's ok for a woman to hit a man, but he has more options to deal with the situations than a woman does. Why do you think a man and woman don't fight in a love boxing match with each other. It's because she'd be outmatched, regardless of how strong she is.

What do you mean by "who wouldn't use a woman as a punchbag"? Do you see the number of downvotes your opinion got not just by guys but girls too?
First of all, it's not okay to hit anyone irrespective of their gender. I admire girls and ladies who think about gender equality. This "is it okay for this one to hit this one" is just ridiculous and a double standard. If I hit you, I deserve to go to jail. If you hit me, you deserve to go there too.

@Imhotep99 bhai, you are 17, if for argument sake we were having a dispute and you chose to be violent with me...

Do, i have a duty of care towards you seeing you are a minor and any retaliation might really hurt you or are all bets off?

Also, if I did choose to attack you, how would other people view this?

and if they condemn it, why would they?

I think it is ok to float the equality debate but there are examples that need to add context. In this case, women are not as strong/physically defined as men, similarly to minors meaning you are out of line if you respond with violence before fully exploring other means

@gobsmacked3 Bhai, what you've said is partially correct and I don't deny that. But you shouldn't worry about what others think about you and your actions. It's none of your business really. Just like DiCaprio said.
I personally wouldn't hit an elder woman as a retaliation or revenge unless she was really a threat to my teeth or something. I wouldn't initiate a fight with you either as I'm young. But there's a reason why I know MMA. To defend myself if someone initiated a fight with me.
The equality debate is precisely the right thing which keeps people in their place, irrespective to their gender. Nobody hits anyone and gets away with it. Moreover, nobody hits anyone at all.

@Imhotep99 I care little for what others thing but the point is, if a grown man hit a 17 year old there would be condemnation because 'he is a minor'

Meaning there is a duty of care as not being equal in regards to being fully grown

Same wikth a woman, not the same in terms of equality b/c she is as a rule smaller/lighter and thus less equppied to deal with violence

@gobsmacked3 Yeah, but the woman's an adult. Nobody's condemned for defending himself/herself. And if you've learned what defense is, it's not just about blocking and avoiding, but also using pressure and stuff if required. I hope you understand this as you claim to be a boxer.

@gobsmacked3 I respect your opinions but they are too biased. I don't support knocking clean a woman's teeth for initiating a fight but reasonable amount of retaliation like a slap is acceptable. Moreover, it's up to the victim to decide what to do in the situation and the initiator of the fight shouldn't get away with it.
Restraining would be effective only if the woman's not too angry and gone wild or else the moment you let go, slap!
Well, you have your opinion and I have mine. Women shouldn't use men as a "slap bag" and men shouldn't use women as a "punching bag". Done.

I think if he hits her harder than he needs to, like when he's defending himself, then that's terrible. Same as if he hit a smaller guy. That guy in the vid acted like a toddler at the end, he could have just shoved her.

I agree with your Take to the extent that men should never initiate any kind of violence or abuse on women.. the moment a man does this he really is no longer a man. But in self defense he just might sometimes need to hit the woman and that is justifiable.

This mindset is very exploitable. Women may exploit it and attack you because you won't retaliate. And your argument for physical strenght is not worth much. Pressure points such as the throat are not protected by bone nor muscle. It doesn't take a strong person to deal tremendous damage to such pressure points. I do not discriminate. An attacker is an attacker and my safety is my priority. If i can run away i will but if i cannot i will retaliate with vicious blows.

If a woman is aggressive and is attacking and you need a quick way to disable her to get her under control, it should be every man's right to do that.

I'm not tolerating any of this "real man" bullshit I'm seeing. This is not what determines what a REAL man is.

You mess with a bull, you get the horns. Same goes for women who hit men, hit men back. It's ENCOURAGED for them to do it.

My point is we have different definitions of manhood. I don't support hitting anyone. Which in my opinion is a characterization of being a decent human being. By being gender specific you endorse the suffering of the other gender whether you say it or not. It's how inferences work.

But by your definition of "manhood" I could be a snivelling little coward that doesn't stand up for what's right but as long as I don't hit women I'm a man? Yeah no that's pathetic. You may not hit women but you can still be a little coward and anything from a real man.

She doesn't deserve to get her way because she doesn't have a Y chromosome, in this age of gender equality, if a woman is willing to assault a man, she should be prepared when he defends himself.

Have you ever tried to restrain a women who don't want to be restrained? Do you think it calms them down? No, it makes them angrier. How long are you supposed to sit there restraining this growing-angrier person. Until you put your guard down for a second and she bites your ear? Know what's next? She starts doing the typical screaming for someone to help because she knows the guy is gonna be the one everyone's looking at with question marks over their heads.

I was a bouncer for 17 years. I'd rather subdue a man than a woman any day. No one, especially my attacker, male or female, gets to dictate to me how I defend myself against them. The moment someone decides they have the right to physically attack me for whatever reason, they forfeit any reason I had to care about their well-being. I'm also not gonna stand there and attempt to formulate some attack force quotient that's 25% of the attacker's hat size multiplied by... blah blah blah. You use the force you think it necessary to cease the attack on you. If you wanna chance escalation and greater personal injury or worse, then go ahead, play pattycake.

Yeah, there was a young n' dumb time in my life when I heard my father's voice saying something like I shouldn't hit girls. I'd like to speak through that kid now and ask him if anyone told girls they shouldn't hit boys. Now, what disappoints me isn't the fact that just about every woman I've asked answers no. It's the looks on their faces like it hadn't occurred to them telling boys 'not to hit' and girls either 'boys shouldn't hit girls' or nothing at all could (and has) later cause (d) problems.

When she comes after you, if you don't think she's well aware that she's putting you, a guy, at a situational disadvantage as well as a societal one with this 'don't hit a girl' stupidity, then you're an idiot.

Women are not royalty, nor are they children. Stop treating them like they are.

If someone hits you call the cops and press charges. Do not hit them back unless you fear for your life and are trying to escape.

    Nope.

I don't care who it is or what gender someone is, if someone, anyone, hits my family, they're getting knocked the fuck out.

This is some fucking bullshit, women have been kept in line since the dawn of time by the backhand slap, the moment all that bitchiness and feminism showed up the past, it was smacked the fuck out, now it;s everywhere and men are unhappy as fuck erverywhere. Women need to be kept in line, they just have to.

No one deserved in the past nor deserves now to be hit by anyone.

@Vesuvius87 The levels of estrogen in woem lead to more emotional ups and downs. Unless rectified with a firm slap in the face this world is going to become a wasteland of boy-men. Do they deserve to be hit, no, do they need to be hit, yes. Marriages were stable and lasted long with love and compassion but only when the wife had true respect for the authority of the husband.

someone hits me, they are going to get assault charges filed against them, man or woman.

I ain't submitting to no future husband. We are going to work as a time. No one is the authority of no one.

@Vesuvius87 And that is the illusion feminism is blinding lots of girls with. Equals don't agree on anything they never have, better to be ruled by a single lion than a pack of equal cats, these marriages are doomed from the get go. Seriusly evaluate your married friends by respect given to the husband. See who has the happier marriage.

@Vesuvius87 It's a metaphor. The husband is not a position of power. It's a position of reponsibility. The whole family has to look up to you and expect you to do the best you can for them with your wife by your side.
