So i've been planning this for a while now. I just want the people of California to know that whatever the outcome of that stupid calexit referendum is if it even happens, you can't secede from the United states. I don't mean that as in a please don't leave me kind of way, I mean that in a you literally don't have the authority kind of way.
Now if you all remember there was this thing back from 1861-1865 you got taught about it in history class if you weren't slacking off. It was called the Civil war or if you are a the kind of person who still flies a flag of a hundred and fifty plus year old losers, you might call it the war of northern aggression again but only if you are a special kind of sore loser.

Now if you are like me and paid any attention in history class you'd know it was kind of a big deal, with things like the bloodiest day in American History because we weren't stupid enough to get involved in World war one during the early years..

So the end result of this Civil war that California seems to be forgetting was that states are no longer allowed to declare themselves separate. You aren't end of story. It would take an amendment to the constitution to make that happen passed by congress then ratified by 38/50 states. Now that ain't happening. What this essentially means is that California is part of the united states, merely a part of it. You can't secede from the U.S because California isn't a separate entity, sure it may have a state government, but cities have their own governments as well. You are stuck with the rest of us. Now lets pick ourselves up and get back to the real problem, the mentally unhinged Cheetos in the white house. You Californians get no better treatment or more sympathy than the idiot Texans who have their own secession movement.
