I was skinny till the age of 19 and mostly flat chest but after 19 i get sexully active now i am good size n curvy.
great take ty, i was a skinny teenager and i had a lot of trouble cos of it
I know how you feel. I am "height shamed" all the time and it's been happening my whole life.
I've been put down too, curvy is ideal in my community/culture
As a skinny guy growing up, I know all about this.
Good Take.
I think that people "shame" everything that seems weird to them or is just "different". Nothing worth any attention in my opinion.
When you have an ideal body image or something of the like people think its OK to shame or make fun of you, its weird af
Thin girls are usually more attractive. People who shame thin people are literally jealous. Fat isn’t cute or sexy.
Being too thin ain't cute either though. that's usually why skinny girls get shamed, and it's not always by fat people either
Skinny girls are super attractive. Give me a VS model any day over these disgusting whales.
obviously
fit isn't shammed though... I've never really ever seen fit shamming
fit is the way to be.. not skinny either lol
Some people can't "choose" the way to be.
@Jenima ya but for most people
If you are overweight it can be lost
And if you are skinny you can gain
It just takes hard work that most people underestimate. It isn't always easy to see a fit person and say oh yea i can do that no prob
There is a very small percentage of people that can't change it
i'm going say this from a skinny persons point of view, because i don't really know what it's like being "curvy". not everyone can actually gain weight. it's not as simple as it sounds. for me, it's mainly because of genetics and diabetes (no, i don't have diabetes from taking too much sugar. it's genetic). and also because of this i have a very low appetite. i've gone to the doctor multiple times and he said it was because of my genetics and that i am healthy. yes, you can workout all you want to get nice muscles, but even the skinniest people who do workout to get toned muscles, still get skinny shamed. in this society it doesn't matter if you have muscle or not, people will shame you because of your body frame.
Anyone can gain weight. To say some people can't is just not factual unless you have a medical condition. I was very skinny and underweight until I was 20 when my calorie intake outweighed by activity for the first time in my lie.
@TripleAce When you say fit is the way to be. The way to be for who? Some people are skinny, healthy and they like it. They just want others to stop putting them down.
@Allie_Oops No, not anyone can gain weight. Your case is just a particular case.
@Jenima well i mean a healthy weight and a healthy look is what won't get shamed
Its not me. Its just how society sees it. Its up to you or the person to either want to be a winner or try changing the game which is futile. You can't change the game. Just play to win i guess
If she's skinny she needs to then be more athletic to look better. If she's overweight then she needs to lose weight to look better
-- > what im saying is. Being atheltic. Sportive. You don't get shamed for that
And some people love their skinny bodies and don't want to let others impose them what to look like.
And others appreciate how skinny people look.
@Jenima that's fine
but the question topic is about skinny people being shamed 'too'
I'm just saying fit doesn't get shamed
so if you wanna avoid getting shamed at all... be fit
@Jenima Yes, anyone who does not have a medical condition is capable of gaining weight.
@Allie_Oops You said yourself anyone "who does not have a medical condition".
@Jenima I said that in my original comment that you responded to as well. I didn't change any of my words. I guess you missed it. Maybe read the entire thing next time before commenting at me.
@Allie_Oops MyTake Owner said "not everyone can actually gain weight. it's not as simple as it sounds. for me, it's mainly because of genetics and diabetes " and you responded "Anyone can gain weight. To say some people can't is just not factual unless you have a medical condition. " which is exactly what she complains about. She has a medical condition called diabetes. So what was the point by saying that?
@Jenima The point was that I agreed. Duh.
@Allie_Oops Ok. Cool.
Fit people don’t get shamed as harassed, especially fit women. I am naturally “curvy” with more of a neater hourglass figure (not curvy like fat people are saying, ACTUALLY curvy in the hips/chest/rear way) and because it’s easier for me to gain weight, I have to constantly watch what I eat and workout. I love the way I look personally, and I think that as long as you’re medically healthy I think everyone SHOULD love their bodies. But a lot of men feel like it’s their place to catcall, or make comments or gestures.
Everyone at some point feels uncomfortable in their own skin, and I think it’s human nature to belittle or harass those different then us.
@Jenima genetics is not going to stop spmeone from gaining if they consume more than they burn
That is laws of thermodynamics, not biology
As a diabetic you have to do spme research on how to gain weight. Of course you can't
You might have to take most of your calories from healthy fats to no cause major insulin fluctuations
Or more whole foods
But either way you can either do the research yourself or book a couple of appointments with a dietician
Diabetic bodybuilders do exist and they gain tons of size
@Jenima skinny alone isn't healthy
You need to be active as well
That s a common fact.
And asker
With a proper diet and exercise you can gain fat weight and muscle weight. It just have to be followed up.
I find it hard to gain weight mainly cause I do a lot of cardio but if I go to a nutrionist and see what I burn I can fix my diet to exceed it or at least even out instead of being on a calorific deficit.
@TripleAce What you definitely don't want to understand is that some people don't mind being skinny and will not do your researches. They eat healthy, live healthy, remain skinny and are happy. Those people can't gain weight because they don't want to stress their lives for nothing. Some people on the other way have body conditions that absolutely prevents them from gaining weight. It does exist and I'm not talking about diabetes.
@archiz I've never said the contrary. Being healthy skinny means all that.
@Jenima if you mean by healthy skinny=exercising as well then sure.
But you need to do sports, it ain t enough being lean.
@Jenima what do you mean I don't understAnd. Im not saying anything bad about skinny or fat. I don't represent the 8 billion people out there lol
Skinny will get shamed sometimes, overweight will get shamed. Fit rarely gets shamed
Thats the name of the game. Its not my game lol im just telling you how to play
@TripleAce You are basically saying that everybody CAN gain weight. And I'm telling you NO, not everybody can. And I've explained why. Some people are naturally skinny. For them gaining weight is a struggle, it is not natural and others have body conditions that makes it impossible for them to gain.
Fit gets shamed @TripleAce
@Jenima
😂
If a skinny person over eats they will get fat. Yup. Thats kinda how it works. I knew a diabetic girl that did gymnastics and was thicker bigger and had more muscle than all her friends at the same age
A fit person 'rarely' gets shamed
i would just like to point out that i never said it was impossible for me to gain weight or any other skinny person who is in the same position as me. diabetes is not the reason why i find it extremely hard to put on weight. it's because of my high/fast metabolism which makes it incredibly hard. i may be a skinny person but i'm not unhealthy. i play sports which means that i have to eat more than usual because if i don't i'll end up losing weight. i just wanted to make this mytake because i wanted people to understand that there is people out there who are made insecure over their skinny body because others were jealous. skinny shaming is a thing and is very offensive because it makes you feel like you have no kind of sexual appearance such as boobs, ass etc, which in turn makes you feel horrible.
say whatever you want but if you want to know how to gain weight instead of contradicting everything... just listen
if you weight lift NOT cardio... go do weight lifting... eat calorie dense foods
if you consistently consume more calories a day than you burn you WILL gain weight
fast metabolism or not...
diabetics may have a harder time cause your insulin is usually low... but with the right foods and timing you can gain
fast metabolism is nothing more than not eating enough calories... no one is like super man burning it all off
humans aren't superman lol
actually if you stay skinny that's even better
you can gain muscle without getting fat... that's like a win win
It's simple, if youz a fat girl, lose weight, if youz a skinny girl gain weight, den no probz girl, go get em
so sick of people shaming others because they're skinny or fat, like no! we are all beautiful and we don't need the approval of anyone to love our own body. so never tell a person to lose or gain weight because it certainly won't solve a problem dude.
You got it dude, here check this out

Screw that, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIpv3Shdzf4
Wowie. This is so ass backwards I'm actually confused. Healthy = Bad according to them?
The white suit. It's a SHAME what I would like to do with her.
What?
@VaIiant I'd start with giving her oral sex until she mumbled incoherently.
I was just asking what you meant lol, not what you would do.
i wish i was born skinny , i hate my chubby size tbh
Yeah i can relate to this
I would very much rather be skinny shamed.
skinny people rock <3
Confidence is your shield.
Thanks for this point of view.
You had it harder than any fat person
Especially in this generation, lol.
