Dear god, I just couldn't let this slide, this video that my mate sent me and all this stuff on pronunciation just made me REALLY want to make a post on it, so thank you to you man, I hope that me clarifying which ones I actually do say will let you get a even better ideology of how I sound! :D

It's been a rather boring day today, so to have him send me that just made me crying with laughter, I was watching it with my sis and we were both laughing so hard our eyes were crying, we kept on reading the way it was spelled and just laughing hysterically!

But honestly, The British accent is not amazing, it varies all over the country and just so happens I talk with these words through the people I have been around.

Buh on ist lee

The Bri ish ak sent is not ah maze in

I varies all o'er the country an just so appens I talk like this cos of da people I grew up with

We basically take a word and try to shorten it to a point where you don't need to say as much, like a more casual way of speaking instead of saying the whole thing.

Mainly because we want to keep a conversation casual and short, we don't want to be saying every letter when talking, we want to talk and have you understand while not feeling like a formal conversation.

Mainly cos we want ter keep a conversation casual and short

We don't want to be sayin e'ery le'er when talkin

We want to talk an have you understand while not feelin like a formal conversation

Other times for these pronunciations are when in a hurry we will use them to avoid having to say the whole words.

Like, if you are in a hurry and ask your mate to

"Chuck me ma wah uh boh uhl mate" is a completely normal conversation and only looks odd because it is in writing instead of through sound! :D

The Schewpid one is more because sometimes we just can't be bothered to add a T in letters, more common when drunk, but sober people can do it either knowingly or unknowingly as well.

"Are you actually Schewpid, mate you piss taker!" that is a quote from a actual conversation I had with my mates before, the word still comes out similar to STUPID but more like

Stew pid

S Chew pid

The CH is the part that covers for the missing T so it depends on how hard of a CH you do

Mine often sound like

Shh Tew Pid or Shh Tyoo Pid or St oo pid

In my version, the Tew substitutes for the T and U missing, the Tyoo was a way of trying to show how it comes out when spoken.

It's even funnier, I can spell really REALLY well, it was my top grade, it's just that if I am speaking then people might assume that my grammar is bad because I don't speak the way that the words are written.

Okay, it is getting to bed time now so I will bid you good night and hope this gives you a laugh! :)
