It was working just fine and being recognized by both my laptop and also itunes yesterday. Then when I got to the gym I saw that the light on top that is usually green was a solid red and wouldn't play.
I thought maybe the battery was low or dead, but I left it charging a for a few hours when I got home and nothing has changed. Ideas as to what may be up?
Could the charging cord be messed up? Like could I test that by connecting the shuffle cord to my iphone to see if the issue could just be with the cord or are the cords not transferable since the shuffle one connects to the headphone jack?

I connected my phone to the shuffle charger to see if just the cord was broken. That didn't work, and after that I reconnected my shuffle and it showed up, amber light & all. Very weird, I don't know what happened but it's good now. :)
