Are purity rings a turn off?

It can be a turn off to a lot of guys, especially in their teenage years.
However, it's a great idea to stay pure until marriage.
Losing your virginity will honestly make you less attractive to guys in general.

When you get the ring, believe in it. Don't wear it because it makes you feel good, wear it because you're serious about it.
I know a girl who was acting serious about her purity ring, then she broke her promise to herself and threw the ring away. Words could not explain how disappointed I was in her.

In short: It's a good idea to stay pure, it's a turn off but it's ok because guys shouldn't date you because they want to have sex with you, they should date you because they like you.

A man who believes in true love and waiting until marriage will take a special interest in a woman who wears that kind of ring (assuming he knows what the ring represents). Those rings will only scare off many of the men who do not want to wait for sex. These are two compelling reasons to get one :)

You do you. You don't have to be a Christian to have a purity ring. Or to believe in "true love" After all, in the bible you would be your husband's property.

I've pretty much had enough impression on sex that I could have a relationship with a girl without sex. To me, it's not a turn off, it's something I'd be impressed by.
