Vertical Blinds: Which way do they go?

Alright, so.. I've got some vertical blinds and I have no idea which way they should be facing to ensure me the most privacy. Should the curved part be facing towards me, or away?

This is difficult to explain. O. o Can you help me?

inside of the curve faces the outside of the house :)

I always put them so the concave side is facing out.

Facing the outside, yes? That's how I have mine now- the concave side facing outside of my apartment. No one has ever told you that they can see you moving around inside?

Nope, because they can't. I look through the blinds from the outside to check what's visible and what's not to ensure I'm not advertising what I have to theives or the NSA satellites. Tighten up your blinds so they are all the way closed. Or get more so they overlap farther.

If you can see out of them a little then there right. If you can't see out of them at all then someone can see in. Does that nake sense.
