+1 yWell that's a problem of 99.99% of population of the world lol

Seen commonly in people with "short sightedness" or "myopia".
If you are interested in knowing more about them then google "Muscae volitantes".
Some accessory arteries are present in our eyes when we were born but as we get older, those accessory arteries (Hyaloid arteries;to be precise) gets degenerated and those remenants/remaining bits and pieces of those arteries are seen as "Floaters".13 Reply- +1 y

+1 yI had one once! It was TOTALLY IN THE WAY OF MY VISION
I got scared I was like WTF
so I was told to eat C-vitamins and vasculoprotectives and then it went away in like a week111 Reply
m +1 yTotally in the way of vision? My God! Mine bothers me only when I look at something bright. A little blurry. The first time I noticed these shadows I was like, OMG, I think I'm gonna be blind. Lol
Mine was caused by an injury... Do you think it will go away if I take vitamin c capsules?- +1 y
oh for me it was like, one day i woke up and i was like "wait a second there's this string in my vision that's like, a pretty fucking long string - but it's moving around in my eye as I move my eye so i'm like WAIT A SECOND THIS THING IS INSIDE MY EYEBALL WTF IS THIS KALSDJLKASJDLKASJDLK GET IT OUT WAAHAHHAHHH WTFFFFFFf"
but it went away in like a week, I was told to take C vitamin capsules yes although I don't have any idea whether that actually helped or not, but hey, it went away did it not? :D - +1 y
I hope yours will go away too!

Honestly I was also taking this thing called "rutascorbin" but it seems to exist only in this particular region
It contains a small amount of "rutin" which apparently is a "bioflavonoid" which "helps C vitamin absorption" or whatever. C vitamin by itself ought to work too, though. If it does anything, I don't know really. I just know that is what I was told to take :P - +1 y
I don't think there's any harm in buying some C-vitamin with extra bioflavonoids or whatever, I'm sure they sell it at like retail stores and pharmacies
- +1 y
I hope it will help!
+1 yYup, they're pretty normal. Keep an eye out, however, if you're suddenly getting more in a very short amount of time. That can be a sign of the jelly in your eyes starting to break down from over strain or other serious issues. Note that this is a sharp increase, not just 'I think I have more than I did last time I noticed'.

+1 yI've had them for years. They are really annoying, and I have a lot of them. I have circles and squiggles. When I was younger I used to stare at them all the time because I was fascinated with them. I can ignore them at times. It depends on the lighting.

I was freaked out at first until my mom explained what they were. I find them annoying but I am also so used to having them that I probably would find it weird if they were gone.
2.2K opinions shared on Other topic. I get them when I work too much. When I'm worn out and tired and all that jazz, my eyes go crazy. It's one of the most annoying things I can think of.

+1 yEye floaters or flashes of light can mean something really bad is going on... like a problem with your retina. Go see an optimologist.

12 Reply4.5K opinions shared on Other topic. I don't like them, but (allegedly) - if you drink lots of water, the eye floaters will disappear.
12 Reply7.6K opinions shared on Other topic. I've had one once, only lasted a few second's than slowly disappeared. Tho it could of been something else as it floated across my eye.
