Are middle eastern features not considered as attractive as white?

I look ethnic, my skin is on the light side (olive skin tone) but I'm not pale white like a northern european but not dark like an Indian. I have really big eyes and somewhat of an angular face. Dark hair. Really great skin. I am petite in stature not height, lim 5''6 slim with a curvy body. I've suddenly become insecure about my looks. I feel like any typical average run of the mill white girl is considered more attractive simply for the fact she looks more caucasian than I do. I see some of these girls and compare myself to them. The only thing I notice is that they look white, and I am slightly darker tone and shade (hair, eyes, skin). I am not fatter, or less attractive or lacking in anything that they have. I have been told I am pretty or gorgeous before and every one tells me to apply at restaurants where they hire really pretty girls as a part time job for work. I guess I am looking for the brutal honesty to be confirmed. Has society or biology just said white girls? Am i overthinking it?

I had a friend who is short, wide, nearing 30 and had 2 kids. I was thinner, younger looking, better body (no kids) than she was but she got more attention. Difference was she was girl next door white girl and I was exotic looking.

Well personally I have to say that I find damn near every single race equally attractive in their own way. One thing I can say though is that looks alone aren't the answer to your question. Men and women find the same non physical things attractive. So think about what you like in a man and that's what men will find attractive in you. Things such as confidence, posture, attitude, playfulness, sence of humor, and kindness are all things that both me and women alike find attractive. The difference between a beautiful woman of one race and another is their mind. That's all it boils down to. If we have the same interests and we get along and make each other laugh and we find each other sexually attractive as well that's all you need for a relationship to work. Now on the other hand it also has to do with what each person is specifically looking for. A lot of young men and women are just looking for sex and don't particularly care about the personality. I mean more or less if you are just looking for sex then the person may have personality flaws such as the girl is a total psychotic bitch but if she has a nice ass I can look the other way for a night or a month or whatever but it won't last is the point. Another thing is that the media basically brainwashes men and women and seriously effects what they find attractive. Just like watching p*rn, if you watch perfect blonde pornstars everyday then you will be desensitized and have a completely unrealistic expectation of what a woman should be. I mean not everyone is effected by this, but I have to say a majority of men and women are brainwashed. It's a sad thing really, and honestly you may be a victim of this type of thinking yourself. I mean if you only want mr. Tall dark and handsome and you could give a fuck less about the shy blonde guy who If you gave him a chance would be your knight in shining armor then you are just as guilty as the guy who watches p*rn and wants to date a big tit barbie doll. Real talk.

There are a few aspects to your question.

1. And this is the most important part. Stop comparing yourself to others, but rather develop self-esteem and confidence independently. You are born with the hand you are dealt look-wise. And physical looks are a fading good. So better like yourself with what you have rather than keep cmoparing yourself to other girls who might or might not be more attractive than you.

2. Just because certain women get more attention doesn't mean they are more attractive. They could also simply be easier and attention whoring. There is a difference between quantity and quality attention and attraction.

3. Ethnicities of all kinds prefer to date people among their own ethnicity.

4. Women on average are brighter than their male counter-part of every single ethnicity. Aka men are attracted to paler skin than themselves most of the time. Has to do with biology - it was about absorbing a certain nutrition that is essential for pregnancy (don't know which specific one anymore).

5. Being bitter and bitching really isn't making you more appealing to men. Men often stay away from women that behave like you are doing here.

This really depends who you're asking. Some people find darker features better, some like lighter features. Everyone has their own preferences.

Yea, the "big bad media" does seem to favor Euro features (like straight hair, light color hair and eyes, pink lips, fair or pale skin, etc), but even then, some people still aren't attracted to lighter features. Or at least not light features only.

I think the problem that most women have, myself included, is that for some stupid reason, we think guys only have one "type". Basically, if the guy sees a blonde girl and says, "she's hot", we automatically assume it's cuz her blondeness or that maybe he only likes blondes. But in reality, most guys really do find a variety of women beautiful for their own unique features. Yes, that girl with straight hair looks beautiful, but that doesn't mean your curly hair or your afro is not beautiful. Yes, that girl with big breasts is beautiful, but that doesn't mean your smaller breasts or almost flat breasts aren't beautiful.
Basically, I noticed that we women tend to think "hmm, he found that slim girl with thick legs as attractive, that means I must also be slim with thick legs too so he'd consider me attractive". When in reality, guys do tend to like variety. Maybe that chubby girl was pretty to him, that doesn't automatically mean he ONLY likes chubby girls. This is probably why in the "Fat Acceptance" movements, their mantra was "Real men like curves, bones are for dogs". Because we women tend to think that men must ONLY pick one type of woman. Not true for the most part.

Just don't fret I guess. Cuz beauty really is subjective. And we women have to remember that guys usually like a variety of features and it really depends how good the girl pulls them off. Depends on individuals.

It's honestly something I learned a lot on this site. I used to be naive and think guys have only one "type". Not true. Most guys will find larger and thinner women attractive for their own unique features and how well they pull them off. It doesn't have to be one or the other like most women think.

Heck no! White over middle eastern? Sorry but NO. Every middle eastern girl I know whether family or friend they are freaking beautiful. I've send white girls and trust me no comparison. I'm not trying to talk down on them but they get more attention because they are very promiscuous and middle eastern women are more conservative and sexier. Two most attractive ethnic groups on my list are definitely Middle Eastern and Hispanic.

I just met this girl from Jordan recently, I find her super attractive, more so than plenty of white girls. Race and attractiveness generally don't go hand in hand unless the specific person has some preference for that sort of thing.

That being said, I bet it has more to do with how you're carrying yourself and the subtle signals you're sending. If you're insecure at all, trust me when I say it is showing through in your body language. It always does. Many people subconsciously read other people without even thinking about it because there's all sorts of subtle clues about a person in their body language and how they are interacting in the moment.

In short, if you find you're not getting as much attention as some of the other girls, it almost definitely has to do with WHAT you're doing rather than how you look.
