Dog ate boyfriend's vomit. Will she get sick?

Last night my boyfriend got really sick and threw up a lot. His dog came in the room and ate all of it off the floor. I know dogs will eat almost anything but I was freaking out because she even ate the residue and made sure there was nothing left and he was like so calm lol. By the time he came to mop it there wasn't anything to do except spray the floor and clean up because the smell. I have heard of dogs eating their own vomit but what will happen if they eat human vomit, especially if they might have ate something bad to vomit in the first place?

Anyway... dogs eat lots of shit (quite literally) and are most of the time fine. Unless your boyfriend ate something that his dog might be seriously allergic to, I'm sure it'll be fine.

lmao I was calling him to make her stop I was not interrupting that because she was really eating like that was her last meal and he came in the room and said I told you she eats anything. I guess it did not bother him because it was less that he would have to actually clean because she ate it all.

That is normal. Dogs eat stuff like that all the time and as a result have better immune systems than humans that live in a fairly clean environment. Often dogs even eat out of the litter box. Your dog should be fine.

Thanks I was just freaked because seeing that made me want to throw up too and I know he was sick so whatever he had she ate it.
