Is it weird to like a special ed guy?

Okay so this guy Ryan has some special needs. He can talk and he's practically a normal guy its just his hands that don't move correctly and he physically has the features of a special ed kid. So is it weird that I think he's cute and that I sorta have a crush on him?

No, You shouldn't worry about what others think. If you like him , that is all that matters ! Some special needs people are some of the most beautiful souls there are! My best friend has Asperger's which is a higher form of Autism and she is the most intelligent, honest , caring person I know. All that matters is what YOU think !!

That's really mature that you can see a person for their merit, & not because of a disability. I have bipolar, which isn't something you can always "see" but it's still prevalent in certain ways my body is. But I'd like to think I'm still admirable, as it makes me happy to know that you find him admirable too!

he is still human. if you can like him despite his disabilities, if you end up loving him, your love for him will be stronger than the love in most other young relationships :) i'm proud of you girl, for being able to like him despite his disabilities. :)

I'm judging anyone who thinks this is weird. Honestly people are people and some people are avoided because they're different in some way, but the fact that you don't avoid him and talk to him makes him lucky to know a kind-hearted person like you.

Thank you! And he has disabilities and can't do some of the regular things, but he's only a person and he can't help it, but he deserves someone who will love him no matter what needs he has

Yes, exactly! Just because he has disabilities doesn't mean he deserves any less love than you and I. He didn't choose to have disabilities, so why judge him on something he has no control over?

Exactly my thoughts! Ughh I hate it when people have to be like that. And they don't even realize how easy they have it when this poor guy can't even come to school everyday

Ye I have experienced it in the past. I have autism and people treated me like I was a baby in elementary school and it made me cry. They treated me like a slow person. I even have a kid in 9th grade who has disabilities and people treat him slowly.
