How do you respond to being called ugly? (Page 2)

yea i know this is a weird question but im one of those people who seem to get called ugly a lot for no apparent reason, i try not to let it get me down or lower my self esteem more than it already is

so to make them mad i reply with "yea im ugly but your not" then i smile to make them mad
 
i try to kill them with kindness

Just saying something stupid like your Mom doesn't think Im ugly. I never really had these problems because I would get in peoples face and punch them jokingly. When they start laughing either nervously or for real you know you won or they were just teasing you. Sometimes you do have to fight them though

I usually respond to any insult by isolating their weakness and calling them on it. or laugh at them, responding with something cunning. Like oh my gosh your right, If I was any uglier, I might loook like you, oh god a fate worse then death... xP. But this isn't because It's the smart thing to do. I just react without thinking.

It's usually immature guys or girls that are jealous/just plain mean so they gossip and spread rumors. I cared a lot at first but I realized that it was all in my head and that they want me to believe that im "ugly". The same goes for you, so screw those people.

When someone says "you're ugly" to me, I just usually reply with "tell me something I don't know" then give them a wink ;)

Still, I just flip it around and think to myself that on the inside I am better than them or think of my strong points.

I've never been called ugly before, but if I ever get called ugly I will just smile at them and tell them to have a good day. Like you do, kindness is the best way to deal with that situation, as you show that you don't care about it, and that their efforts of hurting you were useless.

That was when I was like 12 so people were really immature. Calling people names is really immature. There are other ways to express displeasure without being an asshole about it.

If someone called me ugly, I honestly would not care. This is because I know beauty is subjective, I am confident enough that I know I'm not THAT ugly, and I had the most awkward child experience where I felt ugly every day, so those kinds of words would bounce off me like rubber.

I've never been called ugly to my face. But I've heard about people calling my ugly and unattractive behind my back. Like friends have come back to me, telling me that certain girls or guys have said this and that. (All during high school days) I would just react by shrugging and saying "oh" Because even though, yes - it does hurt to hear that. I just decide to not let it bother me.
