what does the above sentence mean, is it to put a cross on stuff that I wanna do or a cross on the stuff that I don't wanna do. please help i am confused, thanks

It means that you should put an "x" beside all the statements that are in accordance with whatever the question is asking.
For example:
Are you a girl? (X)
Are you under 18. (X)
Are you 6ft tall. ( )

Without context and strictly what I see, "x" all that applies to what you want to do. That is generally the way these work, "x" the right answer.
